Education and Learning
The curriculum is the core of what we do and we settle for nothing but the best. The world-renowned International Baccalaureate (IB) gives students instant credibility at any post-secondary education they choose to pursue, anywhere in the world. The IB, a non-profit organization which is dedicated to maintaining top quality standards in education, has authorised Raha International School for three of their programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). As a result we are rigorously monitored to ensure we meet strict requirements to maintain our authorisation, including active and ongoing teacher training.
The three IB programmes offered at Raha International School address the unique learning needs for each stage of a child’s intellectual and emotional development. These programmes have been exhaustively researched, tested, and proven successful in providing students with an outstanding foundation from which to launch their adult lives and pursue all of their dreams and ambitions.
Success lies with our teachers. All of the leading edge programmes in the world would be meaningless if a student does not connect with their teacher in the classroom. The teacher elevates the science of a world class curriculum to an art. At Raha International School, only the most qualified teaching staff will be considered to teach in our classrooms. And their commitment to excellence must continue through ongoing learning so that every teacher stays current with innovations in education, changes in the world, and the issues important to their students.
Due to demand, certain age groups might be closed for admissions during an academic year in which case a student will automatically be placed in our waiting pool. As soon as seats are released, parents of those students in our waiting pool will immediately be contacted.
